NOTICE OF TAX FORECLOSURE SALE Under and by virtue of an order of the District Court of Catawba County, North Carolina, made and entered in the action entitled COUNTY OF CATAWBA vs. CHRISTOPHER D. HUITT and spouse, if any, and all possible heirs and assignees of CHRISTOPHER D. HUITT and spouse, if any, or any other person or entity claiming thereunder, et al, 17-CVD-1379, the undersigned Commissioner will on the 1st day of December, 2020, offer for sale and sell for cash, to the last and highest bidder at public auction at the courthouse door in Catawba County, North Carolina, Newton, North Carolina at 12:00 o'clock, noon, the following described real property, lying and being in Newton Township, State and County aforesaid, and more particularly described as follows: TRACT ONE: Beginning at an existing iron pin at the northeast corner of Walter Smith in the southern right of way line of 2nd Street Place, SW, Conover, North Carolina, and runs thence with the southern right of way line of said street South 88 deg. 43 min. 30 sec. East 70.0 feet to an iron pin set at the northwest corner of Richard Beam; thence with the western line of Beam South 2 deg. 50 min. 50 sec. West 133.73 feet to an iron pin set in the northern line of McQueen Chapel Methodist Church; thence with the northern line of said church, South 88 deg. 30 min. West 63.0 feet to an iron pin set, the southeastern corner of Walter Smith; thence with the eastern line of Walter Smith, North 0 deg. 09 min. West 136.77 feet to the point of beginning, containing 0.21 acre, according to a boundary survey of the property entitled Oscar D. Baker Estate prepared by J. Mike Honeycutt, Registered Surveyor, dated August 7, 1984. Subject to restrictive covenants and easements of record. REID Number: 16325 The undersigned Commissioner makes no warranties in connection with this property and specifically disclaims any warranties as to title and habitability. This property is being sold as is, without opinion as to title or any other matter. This sale will be made subject to all outstanding city and county taxes and all local improvement assessments against the above described property not included in the judgment in the above-entitled cause.
