Details for GATEWAY WELLNESS FOUNDATION
Gateway Wellness Foundation Accepting Applications for 2020 Grants Cycle Through August 30, 2020 Gateway is excited to announce that its 2020 grant cycle will be open from August 1 until August 30, 2020. Gateway’s inaugural year of funding focused primarily on projects related to access to healthcare, early childhood development, food insecurity and housing. These continue to be priorities. 501(c)(3) and government agencies serving the residents of Burke, McDowell, Polk, and/or Rutherford counties are encouraged to submit applications that offer dynamic solutions in these areas. Additionally, Gateway is expanding its focus to include other innovative projects. These projects may address (but are not limited to) issues around small business development, centralized coordination of case management, student internet access, capacity building, substance use disorder, and hardships that communities are experiencing as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. Gateway Wellness Foundation has identified a goal of making grants in each of the 4 counties within their service area. The Foundation will accept requests of up to $100,000 with only a limited number of awards being given out above $50,000. Organizations are encouraged to submit requests for smaller projects. The grant application is available online at https://gatewaywellnessfoundation.org/grants/. Grant decisions will be made before December 2020. For more information or to determine if your organization qualifies, contact firstname.lastname@example.org. If you encounter any technical difficulties while completing the online application, you are encouraged to call (828) 559-9273 for assistance.
