Reports from the scene of a crash on U.S. 70 indicate at least one person is dead.
rreedOne person is dead after two vehicles collided Monday afternoon on U.S. Hwy. 70 in Hickory, according to reports from the scene of the accident.
The crash occurred near the entrance to the Everett Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, Cadillac car dealership. That stretch of U.S. 70 is a significant thoroughfare with four lanes of traffic and numerous turning lanes.
