When you’re carrying a credit card balance, paying at least the minimum due each month is certainly a start. If those payments aren’t making your overall budget feel squeezed, you have all the more reason to put payments on autopilot and not think about the total cost of your debt.

On the one side are dozens of lawmakers issuing dire warnings about security breaches and possible Chinese surveillance. On the other are some 150 million TikTok users in the U.S. who just want to be able to keep making and watching short, fun videos.

You know that ultra-fresh, citrus-kissed scent that greets you when you walk into the lobby of a luxury hotel? Do you ever wish your home could smell like that and start looking into how to make your house smell good? You may fantasize about your home having a signature scent that makes it feel like a clean, safe sanctuary, but life (and reality) can sometimes get in the way.

Since at least biblical times, money changers have been gouging foreign visitors exchanging their currency for local shekels. Fortunately, if you're going outside the U.S. this summer, you can avoid most of the gouge. Unless you're a currency speculator, you'll almost always lose a little in exchanging your dollars for whatever, but you can keep those losses to no more than around 1 percent:
