Catawba Valley Health System (CVHS) is pleased to announce the opening of Catawba Urgent Care of Mountain View in Taylorsville, effective October 19, 2026. Located at 50 Macedonia Church Rd., Suite C, the new clinic becomes the fifth Catawba Urgent Care of Mountain View location.
The Taylorsville location joins existing clinics in Sherrills Ford, Newton, Morganton and Mountain View. This expansion reflects CVHS’ continued commitment to meeting the needs of the communities it serves, including addressing a longstanding gap in access to urgent care in Taylorsville.

Johnson added that expansion into urgent care is a key part of the health system’s growth strategy. He also noted that increased accessibility to these urgent care locations could ease the strain on the Emergency Department when non-life-threatening medical needs still require timely same-day medical attention.

Catawba Urgent Care of Mountain View provides treatment for illnesses and injuries, along with comprehensive occupational medicine and workers’ compensation services, including drug screens, X-rays, DOT physicals, TB testing and more, supporting businesses of all sizes.
