Disc golf opens season at Milligan conference match

FALL BRANCH, Tenn. – The King University disc golf team competed in its first competition of the 2026-27 season at an Appalachian Conference match hosted by Milligan. The leader for King was Hunter Osborne, who threw a 61 (-5) through 18 holes with a total of eight birdies. He finished the final four holes with three birdies to move into third place on the day.

Blake Lawson had a strong showing as well, recording seven birdies and finishing in a tie for sixth at 64 (-2).

Mason Emery and Curtis Pinkston also competed for King. Emery finished in 10th place at 66 (even par), and Pinkston finished 20th at 78 (+12).

King finished fifth in the team round with a combined score of 127 (-3) through 36 holes.
