The city of Winston-Salem will discontinue in-person Revenue Collections services at the Black-Phillips-Smith Government Center effective Tuesday, June 30, at 5 p.m.
Beginning with the new fiscal year, July 1, customers will no longer be able to make payments at the Black-Phillips-Smith location, located at 2301 N. Patterson Avenue. This change is part of an operational shift to streamline service delivery.
If a customer needs to pay in person, please visit the Bryce A. Stuart Municipal Building, 100 East First Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27101 starting July 1.
While Revenue Collections operations will no longer be available at Black-Phillips-Smith, the building will remain open and active.
The Recreation and Parks Department’s Specialized and Adaptive Programs will continue to be based at this location, with staff offices remaining in place.
“We want to ensure residents understand that although Revenue Collections services are relocating, the Black-Phillips-Smith facility remains an important community resource,” said Ben Rowe, assistant city manager. “Recreation and Parks programming will continue without interruption.”
